Dr. Danna Rehms, who received her B. S.in Chemistry in 1992 from USM, receives a plaque from J. Pojman on the occasion of her presenting an invited seminar in the College of Science & Technology. Dr. Rehms received her Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from MIT in 1997 and is currently employed at Engelhard Corporation in Vidalia, LA.

Danna began the work on coupling polymerization to the BZ reaction.( Pojman, J. A.; Leard, D. C.; West, W. "The Periodic Polymerization of Acrylonitrile in the Cerium-Catalyzed Belousov-Zhabotinskii Reaction," J. Am. Chem. Soc., 1992, 114, 8298-8299.)

December, 2005. Ms. Kayce Leard Aultman received her Masters Degree and Dr. Brian McFarland received his doctorate. Kayce is teaching at Northwest Mississippi Community College, and Brian is an Assistant Professor at the University of the Ozarks.
